At Thirty Nine Essex Street we have a long-established commitment to human rights work. Members of Chambers regularly appear in Human Rights Act cases and also have extensive experience as advocates before the European Court of Human Rights and in other courts overseas. They have appeared in leading human rights cases in diverse fields including civil liberties, commercial law, health, housing, immigration, discrimination, local government, mental health and community care, planning, police, and prisoners.
